The uses of the plants are discussed directly below the various names of the plants. Some of the plants in this book have many uses; however, some plants have no specific use.

We strongly caution against eating food plants or using medicinal plants. Many species are contain toxic elements which require extensive preparation, other plants are difficult to identify. The skills required to identify and prepare these species can only be gained from extensive tuition and experience.
