ABOUT Wagiman Community Heritage Archive

Welcome to the Wagiman Community Heritage Archive. This was created as part of Gabrielle McGinnis' PhD Research Project with the University of Newcastle, NSW Australia under the supervision of Mark Harvey, Tamara young and Ian Clark.

The Wagiman community of Pine Creek spearheaded this project with the help from the Pine Creek Aboriginal Advancement Association Inc. (PCAAA) and the Australian Aboriginal Protection Authority (AAPA) in Darwin. Many of the photos and links for flora a fauna are attributed to the Atlas of Living Australia (ALA) as well as the researchers and the communities of Pine Creek, Northern Territory, Australia.
